I always like this store for my pantry goods. Great prices for can goods & non-perishables.
Employees here are the best . They love to start conversations with you at the register and ask you how your days going . Great customer service :)
Prices are always good here and when they have T-bone steaks on sale they're awesome!
Horrible store... Smells like rotting meat and produce. Flies in your face when you get close to the produce bins. Cashiers are very rude and they never open extra lines no matter how many people are waiting. Prices are not that great. Unless you have the weekly add and see something you want stay away. Can't recommend Save-A-Lot at all.
Save-a-lot seems to suffer from some of the same issues that other stores with limited budgets from the higher ups suffer. There isn't enough employees a lot of times to cover the busy lines and the maintenance and up keep is suffering I suspect to keep within a tight budget . That being said, 9 times out of 10 there isn't a long line when I go there and I am usually right out the door. The prices are cheap on a lot of items that I eat and comparable to other places on some items. The employees have always been very friendly and helpful. I don't mind packaging my own groceries but, it can be a bit frustrating if I forget my bags at home.
