The food is the worst ever, no flavor, cold just nasty.
Nurses are great. Doctors hardly ever check on patients and when they do they are in such a hurry, they answer no questions, in and out
Do not use this hospital under unless it is literally life or death and you cant make it to lakeland regional. 2 months ago my girlfriend was diagnosed with a football sized tumor in her abdomen/pelvic region. We have documentation that states "she has a tumor in her abdomen. Cancer cannot be ruled out at this time" this is not the first time a person that is close to me has been misdiagnosed. There is absolutely nothing winter haven "hospital" can do to make me go to another hospital no matter if i have to walk to another hospital and my insides are outsides. This "hospital" should either learn to do their jobs correctly or find a new field to work in. To be blunt Winter haven hospital I would pray you are not sued!
I have been in ER several times over last few months and recently was admitted. The care I received was above excellent. From doctors, nurses, other medical personnel, dietary, housekeeping they are the best. I am excited to see the new ER open. I would definitely recommend and return.
I will be going to Lakeland for my needs after this.
The ER staff was extremely nice. They took their time to diagnose my problem. If I could give 10 stars I would.
