I would like to take time to put this 1st review here with hopes that more reviews are placed on this page. Today's experience was very unprofessional from the staff that worked at this facility. No one would help with a family member that was placed in their care. The staff on shift would release no info on how to contact the social worker. I was placed on hold 7 times and each person was elusive with answering any questions. I initially called the facility today because my family member called to speak with me and within a few minutes into the conversation an employee yelled get off the phone then snatched it and hung it up. I haven't been able to speak to him since which also raises my concern. This is the first review and I find it surprising that no one has commented so I hope others with any experiences please comment and also contact the Inspector General of Florida. This is unacceptable behavior by professionals.
I had had a ptsd episode, I was sent to winter haven because it was only place with room. I was extremely sick and they would not bring anything to me. You had to go to the nurse who was behind locked door with glass window to talk to them. I can't even begin to explain how bad it was!!!! Fighting in the halls, it was so bad
