What a wonderful, caring group of Doctors and staff. They were not only there for Cinnamon but for me as well. They surrounded me with words of compassion and comfort, they even brought me lunch, as I was there all day. They allowed me to stay with Cinnamon so that I could comfort her and ease her anxiety. They were my Angels in scrubs !! I will be forever grateful, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
So far I have taken two of my five dogs there and they have all treated me with the utmost respect and concern for my babies that I took their. The doctor right down to the staff are very friendly and understanding of my personal needs and I would recommend anyone to please take your loving friend family member pet whatever you want to call it there they are the best and God bless you folks
It's been over six months and she is doing fantastic, with no re-occurrence of the cancer.
I'm sure they mean well but take on too many patients. Its like an assembly line. Paid a lot to find out what was wrong with my girl, and they found "just worms". They made it out like the blood work was perfectly fine when the next vet saw reasons for concern in the same panel. Thought my dog was going to die a couple weeks later and took her to a different vet who took her time and found she had a really bad infection and brought my girl from barely standing back to life. Great for shots and routine visits but I won't be back especially if I'm really concerned.
Susie and Cinnamon Shamblen
Amazing and caring vet and staff. They are courteous and helpful, they truly care about their clients and their pets. They are a very special group of people and I am so lucky to have found them.
Being a tech. I was allowed in surgery to observe the procedure, it was a grueling task. During the procedure Dr. Dunham noted a mass on the gum tissue and said it looked like Squamous cell cancer, he took a second tissue sample for biopsy, as the first sample sent by my doctor came back negative. When the results came back the results were positive for Squamous cell cancer ! Dr. Dunham was correct !
Dr. Dunham took wide margins which would ensure al cancer was removed, he was successful and all margins were clear of any cancer cells. His delicate but aggressive skills saved my Cinnamon girl !!You can't even tell she had a radical surgery, that as my doctor thought her muzzle would be disfigured, it was not.
In March of this year my 8 year old dachshund Cinnamon was diagnosed with a serious bone cancer in her mouth,by her upper canine.
I have family in the Winter Haven area and was told about Dr Dunham and his practice.
I'm a veterinarian technician and work in another town , the Doctor I work for was dreading the surgery, as it was a delicate surgery that required aggressive removal of bone very close to the sinus cavity. The outlook was grim, with a high probability of reoccurring.
I took Beau here for a check up and just loved the staff and vet. I've heard nothing but good things about this place and I am see why. Its A great place to take the ones you Care about.
My Doctor approached Dr Dunham with the case and he agreed to take the case.
I can't thank Dr. Dunham and his wonderful staff enough for all they did for Cinnamon.
