Or less stars if possible. Was just waiting over 20 minutes for someone to take my order. Heard an employee come out and day they had trouble with the switchboard and could not take the orders placed by car. No other thing was said while ten or more cars waiting for service, no one came out to say anything to anyone. Horrible customer service after many people were just looking for a hot meal after not having power for a few days. Will definitely never spend another dollar at this sonic establishment.
My office decided to have Sonic for lunch today. We sent 1 person with every ones order over. They would not take different orders said it all had to be on one order and then would not take cash and a credit card as payment they said it had to be all cash or all credit card. We will not have Sonic for lunch again at the office. Lots of other places in Winter Haven to have lunch.
The order was correct when it arrived. The server was very friendly, patient and asked if we needed anything else after delivering the meal. The only real negative for me was that the hotdog was excessively salty.
Actually my husband tried to order me an orange creamsicle beverage, as a surprise the other day; I forget if it was a slushy or a shake, but it's ON THE MENU. The guy who took the order asked how it was made, said he'd never heard of it. My husband just backed out of his slot & drove away. He doesn't have patience for people who don't take pride in what they do. It's a shame really, because Sonic Tuesdays was becoming a fun time. Buy one burger get one free, but they went and put major restrictions on that also. Times, they are changing.
The food was fresh and delicious. Ordered double cheeseburger and tots and son got a chicken strip meal, we were both very satisfied. Outstanding chocolate chip custard also.
